Something a bit different on Tuesday ! I needed to take the car into the garage for some bits so I took the glide setup with me and made the best of a bad situation, visiting a local river and targeting trout. Should be an enjoyable watch even for those that don’t do this kind of fishing.

Thanks to everyone that has already watched last nights upload ! The next video is coming Friday 16:30GMT A cracking session and should be an entertaining watch 🤣💪🏻🎣 I headed out to do some final tests on my own brand reels and ended up with more than I bargained for. The rivers are calling so that’s something to look forward to the following week. Trying to give the channel as much variety as I can and to keep things interesting

Two videos coming this week ! 🎣 I knuckled down and put a shift in with the editing to get them ready for launch, for those wondering how long it takes to edit and put together a 30-45 Minute video you are looking at around 13-18 hours work and that’s after 3 years of practice 🤣 but it’s a great feeling when you have finished a video and it’s ready for upload! It’s definitely a labour of love and always nice the see the positive comments after a good video. Thanks to those of you who religiously watch and comment

I had a great day at Limbrick Fishery today. It was nice seeing Justin, Off The Scale Outdoor Education there and his team Jack and John tutoring a school group. The work these guys are doing to get the younger generation into the sport is just amazing. That fishery felt like a real community today. Very relaxed atmosphere 🎣

Tonight’s video (4:45GMT) was my first time fly fishing ! So a bit of fun and no doubt a laugh for you fly fishermen. It’s always enjoyable to try something new. Looks like we are due some proper westys angling weather next week. Rain will do nothing but improve the fishing and get some water volume back in the water systems. I went for a walk down the Ribble yesterday marking the deep runs and flow patterns ready for the start of the river season. It’s at its lowest since the 70’s, hopefully the effort made in prep work will bring me success this year, I hope to target some specimen chub 💪🏻🎣

Thanks to everyone who watched the new upload last night! What did we think of the new filming style and setup? I have stepped up the pace with the filming and the next video isn’t far a way, with the carp spawning I decided on a tench session this week, love targeting tench, they vary so much from fish to fish. The video will launch Tuesday at 16:30 GMT, I will try and stick to Tuesday and Fridays as my upload days. Look after yourselves and don’t forget to stay hydrated and slap on the sunscreen if your on the bank this week (and take the floating baits where permitted)

The thumbnail speaks for itself ! This last week has been challenging fishing with the carp spawning at a lot of venues and also the huge temperature fluctuations we have had. I had to pull out all the stops to try and get some fish on the bank! Nothing went to plan on this one but it’s as real as it gets, its also filmed on a more professional setup, let me know your thoughts in the comments - Launching today 16:30GMT 🚀🎣
