It’s International Day of Peace today 🕊️

Created by the United Nations the day is used to promote peace while ceasing violence and conflicts worldwide.

A day to draw attention to peace-building and conflict resolution.

The International Day of Peace, or World Peace Day is often associated with a dove and the olive branch symbols where the dove represents peace and freedom, while the olive branch has been a traditional symbol of peace dating back to ancient times.

Over the last few years Flow has grown and evolved as a studio, which has led to a period of self reflection.

We’ve thought a lot about what we do and why we do it. What motivates and excites us as a team, the kind of client and project we do our best work for, and where we can best use our skills to make a difference in the world.

We found that the kind of work we do has changed, the way we work with clients too, and our approach and philosophy has evolved.

It felt like the right time for a new site, to better showcase the range of work we do now, and to better reflect us as an agency.

It was a pleasure to work with on the design and on the build, who have helped to create a stunning website that feels like represents Flow today.

How the character designs developed for Captain Zaptic ⚡️

We did lots of experimenting with body shapes, facial features and poses, all influenced by retro cartoon character styles.

The final design is the hero the world needs, one that streamlines systems and process! 🙌🏻

Here's some of the final artwork from our latest animated film for ⚡️

We just love the retro vibes of this one, such a fun style to work with.

Big high fives to our awesome animator who led the art style and storyboarding for this one ✋

The character designs and art style were inspired by retro-style UPA informercials and early Hanna Barbera character design motifs.

The end result is a characterful film that tells the story with energy and humour.

Thanks to the client for trusting us with this, it takes bravery to go with the more daring and less obvious solution.

As an agency we have always tried to work with organisations who do good in the world and few top , whose mission is literally to save our planet.

The campaign was launched at the International Negotiating Committee in Paris and has already been capturing the attention of the news media and global leaders.

An amazing campaign hopefully looking to creating a once in a lifetime change.
