Good morning!

Well yesterday was cram packed full! We had a full day in Magic Kingdom to get all the rides done we hadn’t done previously and a few we’ve never done before…, possibly for good reason 😂

Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, Dumbo, Flying carpets, Winnie the Poo, pirates, Tiana’s, Thunder Mountain, Little Mermaid, Laughter Lounge, parades, it’s a small world… you name it we did it! We did purchase multi lightening lane passes and they were a godsend as ride times were hitting high. They cost us $29 each.

We had lunch at the Plaza Restaurant and it was great service and hearty food! Donna tried the special Halloween chicken burger on offer, she wasn’t overly keen on Smokey/spicy sauce but said the burger itself was good and she enjoyed the chips! My salad was great. Some times you just want something a little healthy and I loved having this! The milkshake was also very very good and my treat, love that they give you the remaining amount in the metal stirrer to finish too! We had Onion rings to share, there was plenty and really good! I hate breaded onion rings so when I saw beer battered I was on it, and they didn’t disappoint! For the one appetiser, two mains, Donna had a coke fountain drink (and got 3 drinks during the meal) my milkshake (I had two and half out of the cup) and two waters it came to $75 plus tip which for Disney I thought wasn’t too bad. (Tip if you ask your server she will also give you a take away drink for the parka to walk around with if you have a fountain drink).

It was extended hours last night to 11 but the heat was mental and it was Saturday so very busy! We left the park around 5 and headed back to resort where we freshened up and went for drinks at Wailulu Bar and Grill in the new Polynesian tower. 😍 the food here looked incredible (one to try on another visit for sure). The drinks were extremely well made, I had a Banana Old fashioned and an Australian Sauvignon, Donna tried the Hibiscus Margarita, a Rose, and a glass of bubbles and we quaffed them quite easily!

We were lucky as we had cancelled our reservation the night before in the restaurant here, for other plans made but Wailulu do have a walk up and you ask to sit at the bar. We did this and got seated straight away around 19:30, a kind group who had been sat in a great window seat were leaving and gave us their seats and wow we had the best view! This is one to try and get for the fireworks, you watch the light parade in the water first then they play in the music for the fireworks, I’d say this was so much better than at the Contemporary California Grill and we would 100% choose this area every time now, and you don’t have to pay the cost of an expensive meal to enjoy!

As the evening ended I didn’t start to feel very well, and have had a temperature all night, shakes and full of cold… however I’ll take some meds and hope I recover fast as today is HHN (pray for us) 😂 looking forward to it just wish I felt 100%.

So yesterday we moved location to the Polynesian and OMG we love it!

For me out of our three resorts this is something else, you could actually be in the tropics here, love love this resort.

We have been lucky, and even though we only booked a resort view, we must have been pixie dusted because we have a view of the Grand Flow and the Lagoon which would be a preferred view room I think, it also sleeps 5 so the room feels like the largest we’ve had out of the three resorts with two large bathrooms.

We headed straight to Trader Sam’s and was put on the walk up list, we walked in for 11am. It’s such a fun themed bar, way better than Beak and Barrel in our opinion, drinks were flowing and the interactions are great! I had to get two of the three souvenir cup drinks because I love a cup! and Donna enjoyed her Marg and Rum flight.

We then headed upstairs to the Ohana lounge, again I had to get the souvenir back scratcher drink just for the keep sake 🤣 unfortunately food doesn’t start here until 4pm so we will have to go back for the wings and noodles!

We did eat in the sit down restaurant Kona Cafe, Donna had the Sushi and I had the Poke Bowl, both really fresh and tasty, if you love raw seafood you will like this cafe!

We had an evening off filming last night, as we wanted to enjoy being in the moment enjoying a meal and drinks together with friends, it was so much fun and one of the reasons we started with vlogging! It’s been amazing to have met so many lovely like minded people that we can now say have become our friends 🥰.

Top tip though, if you’re in Florida GATOR’S is a great place to enjoy some good food and cheap drinks! We had boneless wings, ($6.99 each for 5 pieces, the price goes up slightly the more you buy 10 wings $10.99 etc) with two standard sides we got fries and onion petals and thoroughly enjoyed every mouthful!

Drinks were on 2 for 1 also and only $7.99 for spirits with mixes, and they were strong measures! They also do a massive Beer keg too which was $24 and holds 8 pints 🤯 some Beers were also on special at $3.50 a pint! We would 100% recommend this place for good music and great service, there are 7 restaurants located around the Florida area so just google it.

We finished our evening with our cookies from the Summer House cookie bar! I loved mine Donna wasn’t keen on hers…

Today we’re on for another Magical Day 🏰

🎃🍸 BRUNCH, COCKTAILS, SPACE & A LITTLE HALLOWEEN MAGIC! 👻✨

After a little admin first thing yesterday (because believe it or not we do have to work sometimes!), we got on with the important stuff… FOOD!

🥂 CAKE & BAKE – DISNEY’S BOARDWALK

We started with a late-morning brunch at Cake & Bake on the BoardWalk. One of the best things about staying here is being able to roll out of bed and be downstairs for brunch in about five minutes! 😂🙌

The restaurant is stunning and the fall overlay was beautiful 🍂🎃. We had the lovely Kristen looking after us and ordered:

🍳 Eggs Benedict
🧀 Goats Cheese & Rosemary Quiche
☕ Cappuccino
🎃 Spiced Pumpkin & White Chocolate Latte
🍹 Pink Lady Margarita
🖤 Black Swan Signature Cocktail

And yes… it was only 10am, but it’s five o’clock somewhere!🍸

The food was 10/10. The quiche was light, fluffy and creamy, packed with rosemary and bacon and finished with a hint of nutmeg 🤤 definitely one to consider if you plan on eating here. The Eggs Benedict was equally delicious, with perfectly poached eggs and a beautifully made hollandaise — subtle lemon and just the right amount of chives. Exactly how I make it at home! The best part for me was it wasn’t on a traditional English muffin instead it came on a buttery croissant and I preferred it!

Honestly, one of the best breakfasts we’ve had on Disney property. The cocktails were fantastic too, and Donna said her margarita was one of the best she’s had! 🍹

For us, it’s definitely worth the extra money for the food, service and atmosphere.

🚀 THEN… EPCOT!

We headed back to finish a few rides we’d missed earlier in the week, Test Track on single rider, honestly I bang on about it but it’s a game changer, it was showing 85 minutes but we walked on in five minutes and we got in the same car! (Which isn’t guaranteed but we’ve always been pretty lucky). Next, Soaring (we didn’t mind the new All American overlay it makes a change so we enjoyed it) we also took the show in, in Canada (I think Donna now wants us to visit!) and we finished with Living with the Land because you just have to.

We were far too full for World Showcase food, so naturally… we had cocktails!

We popped into the Space 220 Lounge and here’s a great tip:

⭐ You DON’T need a lunch or dinner reservation to experience Space 220!

We walked up, asked if they had availability and were seated straight away. You still get the special lift journey and the whole outer-space experience 🚀🌎, but you don’t need to commit to the $55 prix fixe menu.

You can order from the bar menu (the chicken and waffles are supposed to be an exclusive you can only get on the lounge menu are are said to be amazing) or you can simply have drinks like we did. We’ve eaten there before in the main restaurant and thought the food was good, but we wouldn’t pay the full price again. The Lounge is definitely our preferred option!

🎃 DISNEY SPRINGS

Next stop was Disney Springs for some retail therapy, there is so much we wanted! Loving the new merch 🛍️ we also went to check out the Halloween/Fall overlay at Jock Lindsey’s Hangar Bar. It looks fantastic and there’s a special seasonal menu too!

And then we had a lovely surprise… we bumped into one of our favourite vloggers, Jackie aka Super Enthused! 🥰 She was absolutely lovely and even gave us some food and drink recommendations.

We can certainly recommend one of them — 💀 the Skull of the Dead Dip! 🤤

🌺 TODAY… THE POLYNESIAN!

We’re moving to our final resort of this amazing trip — Disney’s Polynesian! 🌺🏝️

We can’t believe how quickly the trip is flying by, but there’s still plenty more to come over the next few days!

Yesterday we planned on a Volcano bay day but instead had a bit of a retail therapy day, hitting the outlets in the morning and then resort hopping in the afternoon (sky-liner tour) finishing off with Luminous The Symphony of Us at Epcot.

We may have made purchases at Vinelands… that’s all I’m saying 😂

The Labour Day deals are over but there are still plenty of bargains to be had. 70% of a lot of items and some great deals, I got a $128 Tommy Bahama shirt for $29.99 🤯 (Tip, Vinelands Outlets is the closest to Disney and only cost us $12 from the Boardwalk in a Lyft) this outlet also has the largest Character Warehouse with tonnes of Disney merchandise at reduced rates compared to in the parks. (Don’t forget to download the SIMON App for free for extra discounts on top of the offers too!

Whilst completing the Sky Liner tour we may have tried out the bars along the way, all for research purposes of course!

Hitting Pop century, Art of Animation, Caribbean Beach and Riviera resorts, most bars are pool bars, so unlike the monorail trail (which takes in loungers inside the hotels) this trail needs to be completed when there isn’t much rain forecast.

We also got pixie dusted a Mickey Pretzel from one of the bar tenders (maybe he thought from what we were consuming we could do with something to soak up the alcohol 🤔😂)

We met a lovely local lady at the pool bar who had been coming to Disney for over 40yrs and had a great conversation with her. We also met some more subscribers at Caribbean Beach, Paul Gillard and his lovely wife Claire. We chatted for a good half hour or so, it’s always really humbling and surreal to meet viewers who actually enjoy watching what we do! Makes it all worth while (hope you have a wonderful time at MNSSHP on Sunday).

Today we look forward to bringing you more of what we love, food and drink! Let’s see where we end up 🙌

Yesterday was such a great day!

Early doors to Hollywood Studios, slinky dog broke down just as we were about to board but we got a lightening lane to use later and managed to get on it eventually.

We had Blue milk with rum and green milk with tequila for breakfast from Galaxy’s Edge! (Honestly we don’t have a problem 😂) extremely tasty and a great way to kick off the day. We also got to see our favourite characters The Mandalorian and Grogu 🥹 he’s just too cute!

Shout out to Gillian Edwards and Chris Edward’s who are subscribers and stopped to chat, it was so lovely to meet you both. Not forgetting a special mention to Sophie Edwards your daughter. Have a fantastic time on the remainder of your holiday 🙌

We smashed out the rides, millenium falcon smugglers run next (we were pilots and got all our targets so best we’ve ever done and apparently got a great score…) the guys with us asked if we’d linked our Fortnight up to the ride (we just looked at them blankly and had no idea what they were asking, but if you do know, then make sure you’re linked up!).

We watched the little mermaid show for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it, we would definitely say don’t pass this by it was really good.

Rise was down almost all day so didn’t get this one done but next time!

Tower of Terror amazing as always and new merch purchased!

Rock and Roller was good but it’s basically still the exact same ride just different overlay and intro.

I obviously won at Toy Story Mania!

We also had a good few hours catching up with Barry Lynch (The Bazzas) and may have had quite a few drinks! (You’re such a bad influence 😂) Fantastic laughs and so lovely to finally meet you in person thank you for sparing us some of your precious time. 🫶🏻

For dinner we had the 50’s Prime Time Cafe booked with the Fantasmic package and loved everything about it, food was fantastic and the drinks were mega, especially the PBJ milkshake OMG!!! One of the best milkshakes I’ve had, (top tip, if you don’t want a dessert you can ask to switch it out and get another drink instead, I had an espresso martini (as my shake was like a dessert in itself so didn’t want another one) and Donna got another Margarita… standard). Just make sure you eat all your greens and your server will be happy with you! 😆

We had prime viewing again for the show and loved every minute of it! We had such a great day. Now onto the next.
