Official Statement from Waqar’s Tandoori Limited
We wish to clarify that our takeaway, Waqar’s Tandoori Limited, has been the subject of false and misleading information currently circulating online.
Here are the facts:
• Someone has shared fake news about our establishment, erroneously associating us with a recent LBC article about a Vietnamese restaurant that was shut down following a health inspection revealing dog meat in its freezer .
• The perpetrators not only copied the link from Google’s LBC article, but also maliciously replaced the original restaurant’s imagery with a photo of our takeaway, intending to mislead readers into believing that the report pertained to us.
• This claim is entirely false and bears no connection to Waqar’s Tandoori Limited.
What we have done in response:
• We have notified the relevant authorities of this defamatory activity.
• We intend to pursue appropriate legal action against those responsible for spreading these baseless rumours.
We strongly condemn this dishonest attempt to harm our reputation and reassure our valued customers that the allegations are completely unfounded. Our commitment to food safety, quality, and customer trust remains unwavering.
Thank you for your continued support.
