Hwange Safari Lodge | Zimbabwe

On the edge of the wild, where the line between comfort and nature disappears.

Mornings start slow — coffee in hand, watching mist lift off the treetops from the pool deck.
A buffet breakfast waits, generous and unhurried.
Luxury rooms open wide to the bush — soft linen, deep rest, everything quiet except the birds.
There’s a spa for slow days, a gym for early risers, and a bar that glows golden at sunset.
Dinner is warm, familiar, shared beneath stars that feel impossibly close.

Just beyond the gate, the national park begins —
and only three hours away, Victoria Falls thunders in the distance.

Raw Africa, refined — right on your doorstep.

Bambatram | Victoria Falls

This isn’t just a tram ride. It’s a slow dance with the golden light of Victoria Falls—where the rhythm of the tracks meets the stillness of the wild. Coffee in one hand as the sun rises and the Falls around us turned yellow with pure gold, we enjoyed the silence and feeling of just being here, at that spot, enjoying the beauty of what is Victoria Falls and Africa.
If you’re ever in Vic Falls—do this. It’s not a suggestion, it’s a must.

Fresh air, coffee on the historic bridge, African sunrise, roar of The Smoke That Thunders and great company... what a magical moment.

Bamba Tram is such a fun way to experience The Victoria Falls Bridge, sunrise and the Falls from a different angle.

Radisson Blu | Sandton | Moments

There’s something about Sandton—its energy, its skyline, its quiet moments in the right corners.

My stay at Radisson Blu Sandton was all about those corners. Morning light pouring into the room, rooftop swims with the city at my feet, and evenings that blend Joburg’s pulse with a touch of calm. It’s a place that captures both sides of the city—the fast and the slow, the bold and the beautiful. Just the way I like it.

With easy access to the airport, connections on the Gautrain to Pretoria and a stone throw from Shopping at Nelson Mandela Square, Radisson Blu truly is the best place to stay. Complementary shuttle service, rooftop bar with city views, rooftop swimming pool, penthouse views and mazing food - honestly a high recommendation from us.

City visits haven't been this much fun in a while.
This is what real travel looks like: effortless city exploring.

Tang Experience | Sandton

TANG | Sandton

Step into a world where the city’s pulse fades, and the art of dining takes center stage. Draped in dark wood, polished stone, and the soft glow of ambient light, TANG is where each detail is considered, each flavor intentional.

We began with cocktails—sharp, refreshing, a prelude to the layers of flavor to come. Every bite was a journey—a balance of crisp, soft, and savory. Layers of sweet, salty, sour, bitter, and umami, each note hitting with intention, perfectly composed.

From the attentive service to the intimate atmosphere, TANG is more than a meal. It’s a curated experience, a moment held in shadow and gold.

It’s a place where time slows and conversations quietly draw you into a deeper intimacy and words drift like gentle currents, unhurried and rich. In these moments, food becomes more than just sustenance—it transforms into an experience. Each bite, savored with purpose, evokes a sense of being lost in the flavors, as if time stands still, only to be swept away by the embrace of company and the atmosphere around you.

It’s as though every detail—the texture, the taste, the warmth of the space—melds into a harmony that lingers.

At Tang the flavours and experience linger long after you left. Our experience still lingers.

Radisson Blu | Sandton | Food

Sometimes, the best travel memories are made around a table. At the Radisson Sandton, it’s a mix of city views, warm conversations, and plates that hit just right.

We lingered over Oven-Fire pizzas with their perfectly blistered crusts, bowls of creamy risotto rich with slow-cooked flavors, and hearty pasta that wrapped us in a familiar, comforting warmth. Mornings started with a breakfast spread that felt endless – a buffet where you can wander from fresh fruit and flaky pastries to steaming coffee and just-off-the-griddle classics.

And then, there’s the pure convenience of 24-hour in-room dining, a blessing when the city sparkles below, and you’d rather stay wrapped in the quiet luxury of a penthouse suite. We ordered late, letting the skyline set the mood as we feasted in the privacy of our space – a table set just for two, with the city lights our only company.

Because sometimes, the best meals are the ones you can share without ever having to leave view.

This is what real travel looks like.

Absa | KKNK Recap | Oudtshoorn

Photo dump of our time at KKNK

Festival vibes in full swing at the ABSA KKNK!
Started off strong with Majozi lighting up the stage — the energy was unreal.
Wandered into the most unexpectedly magical space: the ABSA Garden, a creative oasis blooming with colour, art, and meaning.
And then, of course, the Latelier exhibition blew me away — every piece a story, every corner a surprise.

From music to murals to moments that made me pause — this fest had it all.
Swipe through for my favourite highlights!

Packing goals... I always have a clear idea and Pinterest board of how I would like to look when visiting specific area... yet that just never happens...The Dream: Vogue cover at the airport. Reality: Hoodie, messy bun, and snack crumbs. BUT HEY, a girl can dream... maybe this year

But in the meantime... let the Bratz Doll be an inspiration...

Just dropped: the Bratz Doll for luxury travel content creators. Comes with a mirrorless camera, a journal full of half-written captions, and a cappuccino that’s cold from all the photo angles. Outfit includes "effortless linen" that took three hours to pick and five minutes to wrinkle. Batteries not included, but vibes definitely are.

ABSA | KKNK | Oudtshoorn

There’s something powerful about watching a small town come alive through art, music, and purpose.

Being part of the KKNK with Absa—who’ve sponsored this festival for over two decades—reminded us just how impactful festivals like these are for local communities. But ABSA's involvement does not stop there, they sponser local projects and African artists, through initiatices ranging from Gerard Sekoto's 20 year celebration exhibition to planting school vegetable gardens that feeds 1200 hungry mouths supported by the Force for good initiative, we saw real stories, real upliftment, and real people making a difference.

Tourism coupled with these festivals, when done right, is about more than just travel—it's about showcasing talent, supporting small towns, and telling stories that matter.

We’re grateful to help shine a light on the artists, the schools, the garden champions, and every person playing a part in turning Oudtshoorn into a space of possibility.

And of course… a highlight? Majozi under the Karoo night sky.

Leeto Restaurant | Paternoster |

Leeto Restaurant is poised at the edge of the untamed coast of Paternoster, inviting you into a world where the rhythm of the waves and the crackle of the fireplaces are as integral to the experience as the exquisite cuisine laid before you. The restaurant, a masterpiece of quiet luxury, invites you into its embrace, where time slows to the rhythm of the waves crashing against the beach,  beyond the large, open doors.

Leeto is more than a dining experience—it is a moment suspended between earth and sky, where the African coastline meets a sublime beachscape. The decor reflects this meeting of elements; soft, muted tones of the beach blend effortlessly with curated African influences, an homage to the land’s untamed beauty. It is a place where every detail, from the meticulously placed art to the specifically curated textiles, evokes a sense of belonging to Africa and the untamed beauty of the West Coast.

On a winter’s night, as the fire crackles and the cold wind swirls outside, we find ourselves seated at the heart of this space. The menu effortlessly captures the essence of the restaurant's name: "the one who embarks on an adventure". Our vegan and vegetarian dishes were a delicate narrative of seasonal ingredients. The food -  like the crashing waves outside, was a slow, deliberate unfolding of flavors that lingered, not only on the palate but also in our memories.
But the true magic of Leeto lies not just in its twilight charm. By contrast, the next afternoon bathed us in light. When the doors open to the winter sun, and the beach stretches out beneath a sky dusted with gold, the restaurant shifts, revealing another face. Here, the view becomes part of the meal, with the vast expanse of sand and sea enhancing the flavors on the plate. Lunch in such a setting becomes more than a meal—it becomes an experience where food, good company, excellent service, and unforgettable views nostalgically intertwine.

Leeto Restaurant is a communion with nature, an invitation to pause and listen to the hum of the ocean.
