Welp.

After 2+ months of picking up and putting down Forth Wing by because of… reasons… 🥴🙈

I finally decided that last night I was going to finish it. And then the damn book went and ended on a cliff hanger that had a strong enough pull to make me want to read the second in the series.

So here we are. 🐉

FTR: I didn’t know these were *ahem* s*xy books, until I got to like page 300-something and there was *ahem* crazy wild stuff happening that I definitely didn’t want to read.

Which is why I kept putting back down and not wanting to finish it. The story is fun, it’s a light read and the dragons are done well; I do like dragons and magic powers.

But for me, the thing that makes me not enjoy the first book (and let’s be honest, the second is probably going to have more) is the s*x.

Don’t get it twisted. I love fantasy, I love world building, I love power play and tension dynamics, I love a good love interest… but I don’t need the literal s*x like a damn corn film. 😭💀😅

But hey, can’t be that bad if I’m going to read the second one now- but ISTG - it’s for the plot.
