Our Hammond House Team were out today with TheCultureHouse and Unseen Arts to launch the Landmarks and Legends project at Picnic in the Park. Ted and new videographer. Claire were joined by volunteers Danial and Rajika who made a valuable contribution to the days work. A great event on a beautiful sunny day was wrapped up by our traditional ice cream selfie. Our studio will be closed for its annual summer break from Wednesday 6th to Tuesday 26th of August as our production team take a will earned break after a busy year so far. PAULA GRANT APPOINTED TO THE BOARD OF HAMMOND HOUSE LTD

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Paula Grant as a director of Hammond House Ltd. Paula’s experience in the voluntary sector, working with young people and minority groups, together with her experience of managing large complex projects, will strengthen our board and contribute to both strategic and operational planning and delivery.

Paula is the Managing Director of Capacity Buildings Limited, and her appointment will further strengthen the long-standing relationship between our organisations and encourage further successful partnership working.

CEO of Hammond House, Ted Stanley said: ‘I have enjoyed working with Paula on a wide range of imaginative and successful projects over the last ten years and I am delighted to welcome her to our board.’

Paula Grant said: “As part of the Big Local North Cleethorpes programme we shared some exciting opportunities to develop creative ideas and concepts such as Clee TV, film people’s heritage stories and promote youth volunteering for the benefit of community residents. I am keen to explore new creative collaborations with Hammond House.”

This is the first in a series of steps to make our organisation more resilient and better prepared for an ambitious programme of planned activities.
