📍Downholme Viewing Point, Swaledale a route Lil like’s me to drive along. Lily my eldest daughter is Autistic and she loves a drive out in the countryside, it helps her. I don’t think it’s the countryside itself 😅🌿 as she’s not that into the outdoors like me, it’s more the movement, the music playing, which of course she chooses, the safe space of the car.
I just try choose a route I can hop out for a little bit stretch my legs and get a couple of photos if possible 😅
We always have a little giggle remembering the escaped cows loose on the road, chasing the car here in the pitch black one night a couple years back as we went to look for the Northern Lights 🫣 I had started slowly and I mean creeping by them, as once we saw them in the headlights and had stopped, I then tried to pass them safely and very slowly but they decided to chase the car 😱
