November 2019 our Joe reviewed MYSTIC PEACH supporting Gender Roles at The BOILEROOM. Our blog is no longer live but.. here are some beautiful words he wrote!

'No one watches the support acts but instead chooses to down their over-priced beer in the hipster paradise that is the smoking area. But, I am in the know having seen Mystic Peach before, so I secure a prime spot for this mind-blowing and at times intimidating performance.'

'The band doesn’t waste any time with trivial chit chat but instead choose to erupt into their first song “Malnourished” with all the vigour of a headline act. Curtis Gale (guitar/vocals) paces back and forth in between screaming into the mic and staring into the audience like a Pitbull provoked. The song stops abruptly. With no time for applause'
