One final letter from this editor….

Thank you for such an amazing year!

What a great one, full of meeting new people, finding perspectives and encouraging creativity. 📰

I have learnt so much and cannot wait to see how The Stag continues to flourish. 🦌

I am so incredibly proud of Issue 102 and 103 (issue 103 is still available on campus!!!).👏

It has truly been an honour to be President this past year, I wish the team for next year the best of luck and I would like to say one final thank you to the Stag team of 24/25 😊

🚨Last chance to sign up for signatory roles for The Stag Magazine 🚨

The Student Union are holding the May bye-elections this month for society signatory roles!

This post includes key information, such as deadlines to register as a member, nominations, and voting.

A list of the signatory roles are included towards the end.

✨We are recruiting for all roles: Editor-in-Chief, Deputy Editor, and Treasurer!

Let’s keep this historic magazine going and avoid going dormant in the 25/26 academic year! 🦌

📸 Calling all photographers! 📸

We are looking for a photo to include on the front page of the new edition of our print magazine! 🗞️

This could be somewhere on either campus, of Guildford, or something you feel is representative of life at Surrey 🦌

Our only exemption is that the photo doesn’t include faces 🫥

The winner will be featured on the magazine, as well as receiving a free Stag Magazine T-Shirt, along with a copy of the issue and some other fun freebies! 👕

📝 Deadline: Friday 30th April

The winning photo will be chosen by vote, and announced by Friday 2nd May! 🗳️

Due to the previous deadline clashing with exams/assignments, we have extended the call for pitches.

📝 New deadline: Friday 31st January

Only a short pitch outlining the topic/piece you intend to submit is required.

This only needs to be a couple of sentences - you don’t need to send a draft of anything just yet!
