Few things bring me greater joy than the look on Harley’s face when he has physio.

After a busy start to the year, we’ve both taken the last month slower, with some recommended in-hand work from the physio. She came back on Wednesday and we’ve got the green light to reintroduce ridden work, which I’m very happy about as it means he’s feeling back to normal after a little period of not feeling his best.

It also means I can book in the first sit in my bespoke dressage saddle. I haven’t much felt like competing lately but I have a feeling this might reignite some centre line ambitions 🤣

For now, it’s slow life vibes all the way for us both 🥰✨

Fast canters in general used to scare me. Cantering down hill? Forget it. Not for me. A couple of falls at speed put the nail in that coffin.

But slowly, I started building a relationship with a horse who always said, “I’ve got you”. Who always said, “we’re here to have fun” and who always spoke directly to the little ten year old in me, whispering, “hold on… and smile. This is what it’s about”.

My work with as a sponsored rider helped me connect further. To live in the moment, unshackled from “what if”, “what about”, “what else” to “what a great moment”.

Editing this vlog from the Cranleigh Funride made me grin so much. What a lucky girl I am to have such a lovely boy to partner with. My wings, my armchair, my big bear!

Spotted! just launched subscriber-only content on his Instagram.

He’s been well known for a while now for his great social presence and whilst he isn’t the first equestrian athlete I’ve seen investing in his content, he is one of the first I’ve seen using Instagram’s tools.
