Masterlink Productions is the home of producer James Welch, our clients include: Jamie Lawson, Bill Laurance, Will Todd, Tiny Leaves, Stefan Redtenbacher, Sour Kix, Helen Jayne McKellar, Tom Butler, Claudia Stark, Mr Little’s Noisy Band, Sam Tanner, Thom Worth and many more.
The studio is centered around ‘The Big Five’ classic keyboards, these include: a 1975 Hammond Organ A100 (same as a B3) with a Leslie 142, Wurlitzer EP200, Rhodes Suitcase Mk1 from 1976, a Hohner D6 Clavinet, and a beautiful Kawai BL-71 upright piano from 1973.
The belief behind classic vintage gear is that it creates something special for the player, something that can’t be recreated with a virtual instrument, something tangible that is immediately noticable to the listener. Some current artists haven’t had the chance the play these beautifully made classic instruments, ours are in pristine condition, ready to go on your next record. www.masterlinkproductions.co.uk
