Last chance to submit to our open call! We’re seeking artworks that explore the theme of ‘connections’ - the threads that link people, places, memories, and ideas. We’re looking for art that responds to this theme in imaginative and personal ways – from stories of human relationships to reflections on identity, environment, community, or technology.

👁️ What we’re looking for
- 2D or wall-based artwork (painting, photography, illustration, mixed media, digital, etc.) This can be existing work or an idea for a new piece
- Artwork that you're happy to sell
- Work that speaks to the theme of Connections
- Submissions from d/Deaf, disabled, and neurodivergent artists living or working in Surrey or surrounding areas.

What an incredible journey! Our Time & Place: Site-Specific Training project has now come to a close, and we’ve just celebrated with an exhibition showcasing the creativity and vision of everyone involved.

The photographs on display captured the striking results of the training, imagination and collaboration of the participating groups: Freewheelers, Head2Head Sensory Theatre and The Meath Epilepsy Charity. For this, we thank our amazing photographer Sam Care.

This project has been a true celebration of place, history, and creative voices coming together to reimagine what art can be. From the grandeur of West Horsley Place to the energy of our partner venues, every site offered inspiration that shone through in the final works.

A heartfelt thank you to the brilliant Geraldine Pilgrim for her inspiring training and passion, and to the beautiful West Horsley Place for providing such a rich backdrop for the project. 💫

We’re also deeply grateful to our amazing participating groups — Freewheelers, Head2Head Sensory Theatre, and The Meath Epilepsy Charity — for their creativity, joy and dedication throughout. Together, we’ve explored new skills, built confidence, and created something quite magical!

✨DAiSY FEST 2025: A Festival of Connections ✨

Join DAiSY and friends on Saturday 22nd November for a free, full day of inclusive arts and community-led creativity. This special event highlights the work of artists from across Surrey and beyond, from live music, dance to film screenings and immersive installations.

Participatory activities, such as collaborative canvas painting and clay sculpture workshops, offer opportunities for everyone to get involved, while curated exhibitions explore themes like connection, place, and identity.

Organisations including Freewheelers, Bloomin’ Arts, Orpheus, Post19, Art Venture, Creative Response, and others will share their work in spaces throughout the building – transforming G-Live into a hub of creative exchange.

✨ DAiSY FEST 2025 - A Festival of Connections ✨

This November, we’re bringing together our growing network of arts and charitable organisations to understand what makes both micro and macro communities thrive.

On Friday 21st November join DAiSY and friends, for the DAiSY FEST 2025 forum. An engaging day of conversation, collaboration, and connection, designed to bring artists, organisations, and communities together to explore how we support and grow inclusive creative practice.

Hosted in the heart of G-Live, the day will feature two relaxed ‘long table’ sessions. These open, participatory conversations will focus on the role of macro-communities - organisations, networks and institutions that support artists—and micro-communities - the peer groups and self-formed connections that empower creative individuals.

It’s a chance to listen, reflect and contribute to discussions shaping the future of inclusive arts practice.

✨ Exhibition opening this week!

Visit The Barn at West Horsley Place from Wednesday 20th August onwards to see a photography exhibition documenting the creative outcomes of Time & Place — a site-specific arts and training project led by DAiSY in collaboration with theatre maker Geraldine Pilgrim.

Throughout spring 2025, disabled artists from The Meath Epilepsy Charity, Freewheelers and Head2Head Sensory Theater participated in a series of workshops led by acclaimed theatre-maker and site-specific performance pioneer, Geraldine Pilgrim. Staged within the historic West Horsley Place, participants explored themes of place, memory, and transformation.
