One thing I wish I knew as a first-time mom trying to grow

I wish I knew that I didn’t have to have everything figured out at once.

As a first-time mom, I thought being a good mother meant knowing exactly what to do, making all the right decisions, and somehow managing to grow as a woman while raising a child.

But motherhood taught me that growth doesn’t always look like big achievements. Sometimes growth is learning patience. Sometimes it’s choosing rest without feeling guilty. Sometimes it’s admitting that you need help. Sometimes it’s simply getting through a difficult day and trying again tomorrow.

Your baby doesn’t need a perfect mother. They need a mother who loves them, learns with them, and gives herself permission to grow too.

You are raising your child, but you are also becoming a new version of yourself. Give yourself grace. ❤️
