No hill walking this weekend. Instead a trip round the M25 to Windsor to walk through the park. A 20mile circuit, around the lakes at Virginia Water and The Long Walk to the castle. A very different type of walk, sharing a park with horse riders and day trippers. The photos show just how dry this summer has been.

I can't quite decide if it's good to see where you're walking to or not!
First picture was taken from Box Hill with a view towards Denbies.

Boxhill is such a popular place. I came across cyclists, walkers, runners, and day trippers. Wonderful to see so many people out enjoying the countryside and yet still find quiet pathways over the hill.
