We’ve got a gentle little creative world of our own.

Here, creativity is about trying, playing with colours, and enjoying the moment.
Today we made fundraiser posters, and it reminded us that anyone can be creative, at any age. 🎨🌿

It’s a lovely feeling when you make something with your own hands. ✨

What a fantastic day out today we have had!!⚽️

Even in winter cold we still managed to get out and have a wonderful time!👍

Halifax played extremely well and got a 3-0 win too a fantastic performance it was an exciting game 3 goals, a hatrick and 2 red cards!👏

🎨 One of our residents is now the face of Lee Mount Brewery… thanks to a Halifax artist with serious talent. 🍺

Today we welcomed the incredibly talented Howard Priestley - born and bred in Halifax, and known for being an illustrator, cartoonist, portrait painter and local historian who truly loves his community.
And today, he brought all that creativity straight into our home. 💛

Howard spent the afternoon helping our residents design and bottle their very own beer and not just that…
he also created our new brewery logo: Lee Mount Brewery (LMB).

If you take a closer look at the bottle, you’ll see how thoughtful and fun his design choices are.
The amount of care and creativity he put into this project is honestly so heart-warming.

And here’s a little secret…
the face on the logo belongs to someone in these photos.

It was such a wholesome day full of laughing and yes, you can feel the joy just by looking at the photos.

🎱 💚 Snooker Day Out With Our Residents 💚🎱

Who needs the World Championships when you’ve got this level of focus? 🎯
Line it up… breathe… gentle tap… and in it goes. 🎱
There’s something calming about watching them get completely absorbed in the game. 😌
A bit of competition, a bit of banter, and a whole lot of pride in every shot.
Our residents absolutely owned the snooker hall today. 🏆
By the end of the afternoon, the only thing stronger than the competition was the laughter around the tables. 😂💚

🍓 Dessert day done right.

First weekday on the job for Pete, our new Care Home Activities Coordinator, and he’s already in the kitchen helping residents mix, stir, and laugh their way through baking. 👨‍🍳

Bit of cream, a few strawberries, and a lot of teamwork. Nothing fancy, just good company, a bit of chat, and something sweet at the end of it.
