We are excited to announce we are holding our next casting intake!
We will be holding an open call casting workshop on Sunday 30th June at AKA Dance Studios 1:00-3:00pm.
This workshop/audition is for young actors, performers, dancers + models seeking agency representation.
We accept clients from 0-18years.
If you would like to book your place please direct message or email us and we will confirm audition/casting time slot.
Current AKA Casting Agency clients do not have to re-audition.

Well the day has arrived and we are SO excited to share this news with you all!
Our lovely Ava is preparing to fly out to Spain today for her first ever job filming for a Netflix series!
We can’t share what it is exactly for (as it is TOP secret!) but we will keep you all updated.
We are so proud of you Ava, and we are so excited to be on this journey with you.

OPEN AUDITIONS - STEP ONE DANCE COMPANY.

Onboard Salary $1000 pw, Guest Entertainer Status. Ongoing start dates with varying contract lengths. Rehearsals in New York.

Choreographers include Joey Pizzi, co-choreographer on Mary Poppins Returns as well as Into the Woods, Nine, Annie, and Chicago.

SEEKING: Dynamic, elite dancers with great attention to detail who are technically trained in ballet, as well as contemporary, modern, commercial/hip hop and jazz styles. Must have a strong stage presence and be able to tell a story through dance with soloist performance quality. Must be able to partner and lift.

Females - 5'3"- 5'9" ONLY
Males - 5'8" - 6'2" ONLY

PINEAPPLE STUDIOS, LONDON - SIGN IN 9.30am

Be prepared to learn several dance combinations. Wear form-fitting dance attire. Women: bring flats (ballet or jazz), commercial heels, and sneakers. Men: bring a flat dance shoe (ballet or jazz) and sneakers. All bring headshot and CV stapled together.

DANCERS MUST BE AVAILABLE ALL AFTERNOON UNTIL 6PM FOR FULL CONSIDERATION

FARAH - Asian female (6 - 10 years old)

SAKINA - Asian female (6 - 10 years old)

(Farah and Sakina will play sisters)

CHARLIE - Mixed race Afro-Caribbean / White male (around 10 years old)

ISLA - Mixed race Afro-Caribbean / White female (around 7 years old)

BABY JACK - Mixed race Afro-Caribbean / White (around 6 months old)

SECONDARY SCHOOL CHILDREN

7. HANIFA - Asian female (12/13 yrs old)
Younger sister of one of the main characters.

8. YOUNIS - Asian male (14/15 years old) - Cheeky and confident

9. SPUD - Mixed race Asian / White female (14/15 years old)

10. "HIJABI 5'0" - Most likely Asian but open to all ethnicities. Three females (Playing age of 16 / 17 yrs old but must be in Year 12 or above in real life). We are looking for three girls to play the friends of main character Alya. You must be confident and happy to wear a hijab. You must also be reliable and enthusiastic.
