It's been 70 years since Everest was first officially summitted by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.

This incredible still of the mountain was taken during the filming of our award winning film The Wildest Dream: Conquest of Everest.

The film explores the unresolved mystery of whether George Mallory and Andrew Irvine reached the summit in 1924, 29 years before the summit was reached successfully by Hillary and Norgay.
