وہم یا حقیقت .......................
میں اسے یاد رکھتی ہوں
چاندنی سے بھرپور شبوں میں
جو میں اس کے ساتھ نہ گزار سکی
میں یاد رکھتی ہوں ان لمحوں کو
جب میرے لئیے لکھی اس کی نظمیں
میرے ہاتھوں سے صفحہ قرطاس پر
اترتیں
اور کیوپڈ میرے پیچھے کھڑا انہیں
پڑھتا
اور میری قسمت پر رشک کرتا
میں یاد کرتی ہوں ان زمانوں کو
جب پھول سبز تھے اور پتے ست رنگے
جب اس کے پسینے کے قطرے مجھے مہک بھیجتے
اور میں اسے محبت کی ہواؤں میں بانٹتی
میں یاد کرتی ہوں ان پگڈنڈیوں کو
جہاں وہ میری آنکھوں میں ڈوبتے سورج کو دیکھتا
اور میری تصویر اتارتا
خاموش فضاؤں میں ہواؤں جیسا شخص
وہم تھا یا حقیقت
میرے خیالوں کی بنت تھی
یا میری، مرنے کے بعد بھی جینے کی خواہش

2026 Resolution …

The year that has passed has left behind lasting traces of memory. For me, it was a rich and meaningful year in literary terms. Through my YouTube channel, Gimmi TV, I continued to host in-depth interviews with important literary and cultural figures, engaging in thoughtful conversations on significant subjects.
In the coming year, Gimmi TV will move forward with renewed energy and commitment, bringing its audience more meaningful and intellectually engaging literary content.
I am also looking ahead to an exciting new chapter for the International Gimmi Foundation. In the new year, the Foundation will be launching several important initiatives. I am pleased to announce that each year the Gimmi Foundation will take responsibility for publishing the book of one debut fiction writer. The selection process for this will be shared soon.
In addition, the Foundation is developing its own publishing platform. The new year will mark the beginning of Gimmi Publications, a step taken to support new voices and strengthen literary production.
Last year, I completed my research work on Bhai Mardana, the companion of Baba Nanak. This research will soon be presented in the form of a book. I also had the opportunity to participate in several literary conferences and programs, where I met many writers in person and took part in discussions on diverse literary themes. I presented a paper at an international conference held at Lahore College for Women University, where it received strong appreciation for its original approach.
My commitment to the promotion and preservation of Punjabi language and literature will continue in the new year. I also plan to launch the official website of the International Gimmi Foundation, which will not only showcase the Foundation’s work but also serve as a platform for Punjabi language and literary content.
There are more plans in the making, which I will share in due time.
