It's been 16 weeks since the last British Open !

What the CSWC Proved to Me?

As a newcomer to the cigar world, joining the Cigar Smoking World Championship (CSWC) opened my eyes to what this experience truly represents. It’s more than a contest — it’s a celebration of patience, connection, and respect.

Here’s what I’ve learned:
• It teaches patience. You realise that every puff matters. It’s not about rushing — it’s about slowing down, being calm, and enjoying the journey.
• It builds discipline. Controlling your puff and keeping the cigar alive takes focus. It reminds you to stay balanced and composed.
• It connects people. Everyone lights the same cigar, yet every experience is different. It unites us across countries, cultures, and backgrounds. Some
• It celebrates respect. Respect for the craft, the rollers, and the hands that made each cigar possible.
• It gives confidence. Especially for women like me, stepping into a field once seen as exclusive — it proves that passion and dedication have no boundaries.

Again, thank you to and .cswc for widening the coverage to so many parts of the world — inspiring more of us to take part.
