Mixed Finals Day Photos 📸

Photos from the final slots of the day have been uploaded into a photo album - albeit as a smaller than normal collection. The penultimate slot of placement matches are featured, but the Grand Final makes up the majority of the album.

The Mixed Finals Day 2026 💥

This years event saw 8 teams compete, 6 from England and 2 from Northern Ireland.

Teams displayed teamwork and individual flare as they competed for the title.

The CHAMPIONS Catch! 🏆🤯

With the score at 👻 11 - 9 💥, and a 3 - 4 player count, Kapow were seconds away from sending the game to Overtime!

But as Carmen from Phantoms and Kareem from Kapow traded on the right side of court, Carmen Van Poelgeest pulls off a miraculous catch as she follows through on her throw.

With the player count at 4 - 3, Kapow fire a single which fails to connect, the whistle blows and Derby Phantoms are crowned British Mixed Champions! 🏆

What a way to end a fantastic game! 👏

PLAY-OFF WINNERS ⬆️⬇️

Leamington Spartans 3 & Chippenham Chargers will REMAIN in League 1 and avoid relegation!

Leamington Spa started the day off strong with a confident win against Wessex Wolves 2, but suffered an upset against Manchester Worker Bees to add some serious stakes to their final game against Chippenham Chargers, who they hadn’t beaten before.

Chippenham also started strongly with a win against Worker Bees and then against Wolves 2, all but securing their place in L1. However, if they lost to Spartans and Bees beat Wolves by a large enough margin, either Spartans or Chargers could face relegation!

In a match that came down to the final set, Spartans 3 came out on top in a must win match, 12-8, securing their spot in L1 with 4pts and 16SD. Whilst Bees drew to the Wolves, Chargers were also safe from relegation, with 4pts and 14SD.

Worker Bees finished with 3pts and 16SD.

Wolves 2 finished with 1pt and -24SD.

Spartans and Chargers defend their spots in L1, whilst Bees and Wolves will remain in North & South League 2.

The CHAMPIONS of Mixed Finals 2026 - Derby Phantoms 🏆

Derby Phantoms found themselves at the top of their Group, after drawing against London Storm and beating both Leicester Mustangs & Ballyhackamore Barbarians.

They faced Kapow in an amazing match, to end the tournament. A back and forth match, fought hard by both sides - but clutch catches from Kez Tranter and then by Carmen van Poelgeest, saw Phantoms win the Grand Finals!
