Have you got Imposter Syndrome?

If your brain ever says things like:
“Everyone else is doing better than me.”
“I’m not a real artist.”
“I’m probably just lucky.”

…that’s not failure.
That’s a neurodivergent mind trying to protect you from rejection, uncertainty, or sensory overload.

Imposter syndrome hits differently when you’re neurodivergent because:

🫟Your brain is wired for noticing details, including your own “flaws”.
🫟You compare your behind‑the‑scenes to everyone else’s polished output.
🫟You’ve probably masked for years, so feeling “not enough” can feel familiar.
🫟Traditional creative spaces weren’t built with your brain in mind.

But here’s what’s also true:

🎨Your doubt isn’t a sign you’re not good enough. It’s a sign you care.
🎨Your creative process doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s.
🎨Your perspective is rare, needed, and deeply valuable.
🎨Your “different” is often your superpower.

You’re not an imposter because you work slowly.
You’re not an imposter because you need breaks.
You’re not an imposter because your creativity comes in bursts instead of a neat schedule.

You’re a neurodivergent creative doing brave, vulnerable work in a world that often misunderstands how your brain works.

And you deserve to take up space with your art — exactly as you are.
