The former secretary of Friends of Hawick Library is calling for the local authority to take Live Borders-run services back under its control.

Mairhi Trickett, 79, a former councillor in Orkney, who moved to Hawick in 2012, is also suggesting that Scottish Borders Council has “a complete rethink” of how services, including the library, are run.
