Spent the weekend so far sorting a few issues.
Had help from Bryony, and Douglas dropped by and ended up working on the bus 🤣
Olive had always had a 'sad' look about her so we took the front end off to see what was going on, I suspect she's had a front end smash at some point because there are alignment issues, bent brackets, bits missing and some things just don't make sense.
Bit of straightening, welding, rivnut-ing, grinding, panel positioning and she's getting there, still a little fine tuning to do but overall an improvement.
She looks like she now has structure rather than thrown together.
The front flap that's missing in the pics had siezed hinges, happy to say that this has been sorted and now it operates as it should.
She desperately needs bodywork and a paint job, any takers?

After being Live streamed at a weekend event at Willow Fields, I jokingly made a comment to the land owners about using their massive screen for my xbox.

Amazingly they're on board and after successfully trialling it last night after everyone had gone home, I'm pleased to say we're helping to set up another event, the date and time, and full details of any competitions are yet to be confirmed.

We tested a bunch of kid friendly games, then we rocked out the adult games, I have to say lifesize GTA5 and Call of Duty is freaking amazing.

Word of warning though, don't race Gabby on any game that involves cars, we trialled Forza and she's very good, I reckon she's a secret gamer.

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend at VanLife Fest.
As usual we met up with our extended family 7 In A Bus and together we expanded our little bus community by welcoming Big Bertha, Julian Wild, Bus Different and Steph, Gemma Blackbourn and her partner Paul, and Carly Wills and her Partner Tim and having an absolutely amazing time.

We won our 1st ever rosette, not sure what for exactly, but we won..........something!

Great food, especially the Gyros from the Greek tent, they were amazed and overwhelmed at the OLBI team ordering our food in spoken Greek, the people around us in the queue were quietly impressed too.

Quick shout outs go to John Cunningham for hosting us, I hope we can come back next year, A Sticky Situation for making a one off special delivery of their fabulous homemade jams, Muk Ju**ie Cleaner for the macerator friendly fluids that we otherwise struggle to find (10% discount code incoming for all you lovely people), Wild earth online for helping with a very hot child and supplying drinks AND yet another awning (I really need to get commission now ;) ) to anyone else I've missed or came to visit, shared my awning to escape the hot sun and most off to my friend Doug at D.S Repairs Mobile Mechanic, who once again got me out the sh*t when Olive decided to throw us yet another curveball by losing all power after we'd stopped for diesel (pics to follow soon)
