A couple of weeks ago it was April Fool’s day. 🤡

“Introducing release #10 and for this special release we’ve teamed up with our North Laine neighbours to release a pizza inspired whisky!!
This 21yr Port Charlotte has been finished in an STR American Oak Barrique and bottled at cask strength of 51.7%. On the nose think meat (hello spianata) with a light smoke (wood fired pizza oven anyone?). On the palate a rich and hearty dram, think salty spianata, cola bottles, sweet and smoke. Finish; Meaty, Mozzarella creaminess and herbs (definitely basil).
We’ve picked this whisky as it best represents Fatto A Mano’s Diavola pizza; Tomato, spianata (spicy salami), chilli, mozzarella, parmesan and basil.
We spent a long time picking out the perfect whisky for this collaboration and we definitely think it’s not one to be missed. Priced at £120, this special cask only provided 190 bottles.
