What a privilege today was.

We know how amazing the is for riding. We’re convinced it’s one of the best places in the U.K. to get on a bike and what today’s stage showed us once again, is that the moors creates the most incredible, aggressive and exciting racing.

Watching some of the best riders in the world returning to the tiny lanes that we love to ride made us so proud of the area. Thank you to for coming back after 13 years. We can’t wait to see you again soon 😉

Now to get working on getting some of those Strava top 10s back 😂

💥 North Riding Adventure Jersey💥

Easter week saw us reviewing, riding and researching for the launch of Volume 2. We’ve a few exciting announcements in the coming weeks and lots of big shots of the Moors. We’re well excited to share them all with you!

Coming to off-road riding after years of riding road bikes can be intimidating. The surfaces are less predictable, the tracks narrower and falling off is a lot more likely.

In order to build her confidence in exploring the tracks and trails of the North York Moors, we sent one member of the North Riding team off for a skills session with . Despite stacking it a few times, we think it was a success…

‘I loved it! Mark is encouraging, patient and extremely good at what he does. The session was a lot of fun and I feel far more confident having done it, particularly when cornering or descending.’

With (arguably) the best race of the year taking place this weekend, it’s got us thinking about our favourite rides on the

Top of that list has to be the Struggle Moors from . A brutal day out with thunderstorms, 6 climbs over 25% and road-side pasta (thanks Mum!), we spent the majority of the 108 miles grinning like idiots.

What made the sportive so incredible though was how it managed to bring together the quietest lanes, the hardest climbs and the best views in the area, whilst also being incredibly well organised. Despite being a hell of a challenge, the welcoming atmosphere and great training plan meant that we just about made our way round.

On calmer days, this track has to be the one of the best places for gravel riding on the moors.
