Another customer, who became a friend. We’ve scanned many of her paper cuts and been a customer of her bespoke or off the shelf creative designs.

We do firmly believe we have the best customers. And we are grateful for all the stories, the love and the laughs.

We’ve learnt lots, not just about digitising, but about so many things, not least about ourselves, about boundaries, when to be prepared to jump quickly when it comes to an urgent project, how to spend sensible in a business, how to charge (still not always correct, since, especially large legacy projects vary so much), streamline the work with no compromise of the quality, incorporate AI when doing some post scanning correctly, be solution driven, being completely ok with that the next customer could be £25 or £2K, pace the work for health reasons (that one was 💩), appreciating the champions who nearly always like the social media posts, being creative, constant changes when it comes to SEO, Google, FB and Insta, interacting with fellow business owners and sharing knowledge, supporting Henley, being grateful for each others different skills, owning the customers solution and dealing with suppliers, always having contingency in equipment and not running out of bags, USB sticks, stickers, me and G being together nearly 24/7, outsourcing what we really do not want to do (like book keeping)…. and being able to tell people what we do … in under a minute …. since our passion for this is BIG. So much 🫶🙏💙

We have over the years scanned and digitised for many famous, not so famous, Henley famous and world famous customers. But the vast majority are ‘normal’ family customers with tapes, videos, photographs etc. And we loved working with everyone.

We occasionally scan art work (which can be tricky) and a few months ago Maisie turned up. Well - have a look at her Insta what she does. 708K followers. Very impressive. And we love that she is young and entrepreneurial. If you like Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Bibles then you should definitely have a look. And you might recognise her from the cadets …. Giving back to the Henley community too. We have been honoured, to have helped a tiny tiny tinsy bit with her business, scanning some of her originals. All the best Maisie.

Well wonderful people in Henley and surrounding area. We are going out on a high. Record month 💪🏻 beating even first month in the shop. We are grateful, burning the midnight oil and overwhelmed in a very good way. 🥰🤩

Over eight years of legacy projects and helping customers accessing memories. Part of their stories, their journeys and their family history.

Converting a video, camcorder tape or a cine film with footage of family gatherings, birthdays, sports days and holidays etc. From an era, in time, the fashion and cars and in quality.

Scanning slides or negatives, of different sizes, some processed in glass, some in strips or pairs, so the image is easily viewable on a computer or modern TV. Or maybe even having them printed.

Restoring and enhancing photographs, which are stained, ripped, damaged, faded and more. Maybe, with software digitally, taking away a person, who doesn’t really need to be in the photograph anymore for different reasons, or combining two photographs into one, so no one is blinking or pulling a face.

The shiny discs, our trickiest media, among the newest, the DVDs and photo CDs that sometimes have scratches and holes and more and are holding the data that is so precious but it becomes impossible to retrieve it.

The audio cassette tapes, with voices from the past, or the voices of our customers as children, maybe even those songs we recorded when we had the band as teenagers. The quality varies, but the emotions often are big. Similar with the audio reel to reels. Quality normally better with the reels. Progress made it cheaper and easier, but quality paid the price.

Then the more rare ones, the minidiscs, the floppy discs, the unusual and other region formats of tapes, the unusual sizes of SD cards and images stuck on very old mobile phones. We tried to find a solution, we have some equipment who only rarely come out and learnt along the way.

Editing hours of footage into a small, much more enjoyable highlight video. Time consuming and therefore not a cheap service.

Creating photo collages for celebrations, funerals and other life events. Creating premium products like the Photobooks and personalised wallpapers. Who doesn’t like a statement wall? Again among our premium products.

The list can go on. This little business have variety and flexibility. So, what is your story and can you access it and enjoy it?

This project has been in the background for a bit. A lot of proof reading and putting photographs in the right place among the handwritten diaries and teamwork with the customer. Stunning books. The old ones will now go off to be part of the archives for the Royal Marines. I will always be grateful for finding Blissetts when we needed extra special photobooks printed about eight years ago. An amazing company to work with and when I need a favour, as in an extra quick service, they are on the phone and more and if it’s possibly, then it’s a go. Personal service. Rare nowadays. Fourth generation bookbinders. Thankyou.

Our machines have been busy - but Graham especially has kept them efficient, so we’d be delighted to help with some more. We’ve seen a lot of tapes coming out of the lofts in the past two weeks and with the heatwaves that is a good thing - it is hot up there and not great for the plastic vessels, which are effectively holding the memories and moments from our pasts. All part of our stories, our journeys and the joy when our customers can access the footage again, on a USB memory stick, is priceless and precious. Thankyou. We do digitise other media too.
