I've just been filming social media for https://westerndesert.co.uk/. This is off-the-cuff pastiche of filmed in the bar at the hotel in Alexandria. Thanks to our very patient (and very thirsty) guests who were great sports and rose to the occasion with great aplomb. Thanks also to the staff at The Cecil. Great fun.

This is a fireman's helmet. This is a fireman's helmet from our shoot yesterday. The idea behind the gold visor was that it would deflect more heat. Unfortunately, among other things, it apparently also terrified casualties in car crashes etc as they could see their injuries reflected in the gold 😳. Looks cool though 😎.
