Hey there folks, long time no see...
I'm finally back with this third instalment of the series "Down to the Roots", where I'll take you along with me across Argentina to learn more about the secrets and behind the scenes of this beautiful custom that we all know and love, YERBA MATE.
In today's episode I'm bringing you along to a craftsman's workshop in Buenos Aires, Argentina, to see how calabash imperial, camionero, torpedo and stainless steel gourds and cup are made. He's a very innovative and respected craftsman in the global mate drinking scene, and is one of the pioneers when it comes to the ever-growing popularity of Uruguayan style gourds around the world (despite being Argentinian himself).
For all your mate drinking needs, and to cop yourself some beautiful premium gourds, make sure to check out our online stores at the links in our bio (free shipping worldwide):
I hope you'll find this video compelling and informative. If you have any questions/suggestions make sure to leave them in the comments below.
Thank you for watching and we'll see you next time, where we'll be travelling to Salta, in the North East of Argentina, to learn a little bit about different medicinal herbs you can add to your brew, and the effects they have both on the way mate tastes, and your health!
Until next time!!
Many thanks to my friend .orig Ale Fernández MateAleunrato for making this video possible
