Imperfectly Perfect Episode 1 //

A new mini series that shares more raw and honest moments that unfold naturally.

In a world that often leans towards polished and performative, I believe there’s more value in what’s real. It’s these moments - the unplanned, unnoticed and often imperfect moments - that often end up meaning the most when you look back on it all.

Keifer and Charlotte’s cake cut didn’t quite as smooth as they would have expected but it’s one of my favourite moments from the day… perfect.

Why I don’t direct //

I recently had some headshots done, and it was a good reminder of what it feels like to be on the other side of the camera.

How quickly you become aware of it, and how that can shift things - you start thinking about where to stand, what to do, how you look.

It doesn’t take much for it to feel a bit less natural.
That’s a big part of why I don’t tend to direct and instead let things unfold naturally, allowing you to stay present without really thinking about being filmed.

It’s something I hear quite often afterwards, that couples hardly noticed I was there at all.
