Earlier in the summer, Avenue provided a full audio package for the main stage at the at Olympia in London.
Over 3 days of live Japanese music from traditional to modern styles music.
A full was supplied to cover the space all array processed for maximum coverage whilst keeping maximum control of the system. and loudspeakers used. Y10p as outfills and front fills.

Wow. The biggest ever and what a weekend it was worshipping as 35000 on site each day.
It was a privilege again to provide audio and video production for the Worship Tent this year and Production Manage the venue.

A full was designed and deployed in the round again. A mixture of and arrays and & loudspeakers to fill in the gaps.
Then , and subs deployed around the stage. All driven from a mixture of & amplifiers.
The coverage was excellent with 360degrees of art and not noise!
The control package was built again around the audio mixers at FOH and MONs. Full passive split with 68 inputs from stage in on form or another. With several of the guest engineers excited to use the new .
and in full use.

Video wise, our good friends from worked with Avenue to supply the two lovely LED video walls from their new panels that only arrived last week and Avenue used 4 86” displays to allow all round viewing of words. All driven from .

But this all wouldn’t have come together and got through the weekend without a great team running the venue with Avenue. From backstage to stage it worked like clockwork even when the venue reached maximum capacity or having to perform surgery on a mixer during one set… everything kept going! SOME UPDATES…

Privileged this past weekend to provide full production for the first .churches event in .

A distributed with subs with small cluster array and delays down the main nave. with DM48 at FOH and on Monitors.

A challenging acoustic space but with a carefully tuned and distributed PA, the sound was full and played to the natural acoustics nicely. Everything from Celtic 3 piece to 60 strong gospel choir and all styles of worship music inbetween. No need for much reverb, but made use of some atmospheric delays.

Another install finished last year that haven’t had time to share with you all…
This was for The Salvation Army church in Southend on Sea.
Their old setup was tired and not very practical with audio control from two different setups for speech and live music. A projector and screen that wasn’t very bright. And a desk unit and rack cupboard all falling apart.

So, Avenue provided a new control system for full digital audio mix control from one place with an with new radio mics from and replacing a couple of amplifiers and keeping the existing loudspeakers in the church as they were assessed to still be perfectly functional and suitable to leave. Avenue also reconfigured the PA system with the various speakers for upstairs, downstairs, under balcony, foyer and front and rear platform areas for better control and setup including getting the sub under the stage working! New platform speakers to replace some older speakers and under balcony speakers.

Some lovely bright UHD 98” screens wall mounted either side of the platform area to replace the projector and updating the rest of the signal distribution to the existing in house screens around the hall to HDMI over Cat5e, again, utilising existing cabling but changing the transmitters and receivers to save on unnecessary cabling costs.
New AV control through a ATEM extreme vision mixer for in house screens with camera and future camera cabling for live streaming capabilities.

All this then housed in a brand new bespoke made custom wooden lockable AV desk designed for the needs of this installation so that it stays safe and secure when not in use and provides lots of space for operators to sit at and use for services at the church.
Finally adding in relay AV links from the main hall to the side hall and rear hall for sound and picture.

Another happy install completed. loudspeakers installed to top up a previous install Avenue undertook pre Covid as the church has grown and the balcony needed coverage. All flown now and provides excellent coverage to all parts of the congregation. ArrayCalc and R1 software deployed to help line it all up. 4Sloudspeakers
