BR Archive Lite is Here – Now in Public Beta!

We’re thrilled to announce that BR Archive Lite is now live and ready for YOU to explore as part of our public beta program!

If you're using Broadcast Radio streaming or Myriad Cloud (any tier – Basic, Standard, Pro or Ultimate), you now get FREE access to the last 48 hours of your station’s broadcasts – ready to review or download in just seconds!

Want to go back even further? UK customers can upgrade to BR Archive Standard for 4 weeks (28 days) of rolling archive for just £15+vat/month. Need more? Stack on extra 7-day chunks for only £2.50+vat each – so a 6-week archive costs just £20+vat/month.

Ready to dive in? Simply log in at https://my.broadcast.radio, click “Archive (beta)” in the left menu, then hit “Activate Archive Lite” to get started.

Beta activations are processed manually to keep everything running smoothly, so it may take up to 2 working days for your access to go live. Once enabled, you will see a button labeled ' Create My Archive'. Clicking this will briefly restart the streaming service (few seconds max), and then you will be good to go!

Late last year, we introduced a new feature to Myriad 6 Playout called Live AutoHooks.

In case you missed the original post, we thought it would be worth revisiting as it is a great new feature that can bring a really slick element to live studio broadcasts.

In essence, a Live AutoHook works in a similar way to s standard AutoHook with Myriad Playing a small section from a selection of Songs scheduled to play.

The difference is that in a Live AutoHook, the Myriad continues to play the song section after the Hook End allowing the presenter to talk over the top, the presenter then moves on to the next Hook in the list with the touch of a button when ready.

Just when our events team thought they had done for the summer, we have sprung another surprise show on them! This time, they will be exhibiting at the Lokalrundfunktage (Local Radio Days) Show 2025.

The Lokalrundfunktage 2025 will take place on June 25-26, 2025, in Nürnberg, Germany. It is the largest industry gathering for local and regional broadcasting in Germany, bringing together over 900 participants from the media world.

The event will be held at the NCC NürnbergConvention Center, with sessions running from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on the first day and 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM on the second day.
