Now then fellow woodworkers, here's a nice picture of a Multico B2 6in surface planer and my reason for posting is to ask if anyone has either a manual or handbook for one or perhaps a photo of how the thicknessing plate attaches.

Well, obviously a Renolds type chain splitter, I've a couple of these older type tools, one would have been my dad's, question is does anyone know where to get replacement pins? All searches have proved fruitless, even Renold don't do pins for older ones.

I'm not a fan of carrying tools in my jacket so a small pencil case, some rubber bands and a tie-wrap or two secures a few essential tools to the frame of the Velocette I'm riding in the 2023 pre65 Scottish.

New off-shoot... Classic Stihl Saw magazine... news, views, rebuilds, tales of 'saw' life... or perhaps 'dad, got a great deal on a Stihl saw but it' s not running...' not surprising as most of the piston was in the crank case, likely someone used neat petrol rather than two-stroke...

So, the tripod was unavailable and a camera steady was needed, so a few minutes with a drill, saw and screwdriver.. One side of the top clamp is removable so the monopod can come out.

Sometimes the only option is a cutting disc and angle grinder... The rear damper on my lad's 201 Fantic came off very easily, the spindle however...
