I've finally got around to adding my FREE download to new newsletter subscribers (it's only taken me five years - at least). It's an A to Z of what I believe you need to consider before releasing your book to the unsuspecting public.

I'm practically starting from scratch with my newsletter, so even if you think you subscribed ages ago, please do so again, as I've probably moved websites umpteen times in-between and have lost your details.

I absolutely promise that you won't be spammed every single week (because I'm rubbish at consistency and I have a hundred things to complete before writing any content!). Hopefully, though, every now and again, I may ping over something of value to your book-writing journey.

It may be a surprise to know that romance is my favourite genre to read (the more formulaic the tale, the better).

You may think that, as an editor and publisher, I'd go for the classics or have my nose stuck in books from the Times bestseller list, but that couldn't be further from the truth.

After working on clients' books, all I want is some fluffy escapism. I want to become lost in books that I don't have to think about (because it starts to feel like work otherwise!). And I'm a huge romantic too...even if my husband is the most practical, non-romantic man on the planet (maybe that's another reason I opt for love stories).

It seems I'm not the only fan.

Despite being mocked by book critics for years, the romantasy genre is booming - and that means big business for publishers and bookshops.

There are a few reasons as to why I want to up my activity as a writing coach, editor and publisher. I've been working on books all the time I've been quiet; I've just not 'put my back into it', as one would say, as I've been building other things.

I'd love to start a regular(ish) newsletter, with tips and articles I think may be helpful to anyone who is writing, or who wants to write, a book.
