🎥 A little throwback to an unforgettable moment...

Last week, we were lucky enough to walk away with the Which? Renewables Installer of the Year 2025 award – and here’s a quick glimpse from the day it happened.

It still hasn’t quite sunk in.

Winning an award judged on trust, customer service, and quality means the world to us. It’s not just about the trophy (although it is very shiny) – it’s about everything that went into earning it: the graft, the late nights, the care we put into every install, and the brilliant customers who trust us with their homes.

Massive thanks again to the Kimble Solar team – the real superheroes behind the scenes – and of course to our customers, friends, family (and patient partners!) who support us day in, day out.

Teamwork tastes even better with Turkish food! 🥳🍽️

Last night we got the team together at The Olive Tree to celebrate a huge moment – being named Renewables Installer of the Year 2025 at the Which? Awards.

These are the people who make Kimbletech what it is. The ones out on the roofs, answering the phones, solving the tricky problems, and making sure every customer feels properly looked after. They’re the reason we do what we do – and the reason we’ve been recognised nationally for it.

It’s easy to say “team effort” – but this really is one. And this win belongs to every single one of them.

This homeowner had a mighty 23 Aiko panels of differing wattage and on two different aspects. 15 x 460W panels fitted in roof and these 8 x 510W flat roof mounted panels.

Paired with a three-phase 15kW SigEnergy inverter, 24kWh worth of battery storage with backup gateway, complete with the SigEnergy 22kW EV charge point… it’s an impressive system! 🤩

When taking on multiple roof levels we have to consider the scaffold carefully. These roof spaces had to be populated at different stages.

1. Full scaffold up for main roof panels
2. Half down for lower roof panels
3. Fully removed on completion 👌
