Take a look behind the scenes of our delivery for the Oxford v Cambridge University Boat Race in London!

This year saw the EMG UK / GRAVITY MEDIA teams coming together to deliver a whole group effort for the live broadcast of the 170th Boat Race for BBC Sport.

Our OB trucks, specialist cameras and our RF equipment were on site across the 4.25 mile course providing full coverage of every stroke; from the water, ground and air and all made possible by our incredible team of over 100 crew.

The 170th Oxford v Cambridge Boat Race in London wasn't just a battle on the Thames - it marked a huge milestone for EMG / Gravity Media as our RF teams successfully delivered full RF coverage for the first time.

With on board cameras on the race boats, the chase boats and the umpire's boat, drone and helicopter aerials all covered by 34 receive antennas across five sites along the course and our NOVA fleet on site providing the OB, we brought stability and innovation to one of sport's most challenging environments.

🏇 Our crew were on site to cover Nick Rockett’s win on the 177th annual running of the Grand National at the weekend.

Offering high speed tracking shots and dramatic over head angles, our tracking vehicles, wirecam and helicopter aerials helped to bring every second of the action to life for the millions of viewers across the UK and beyond as the horses covered the 30 fences along the course, all set against the blue skies at Aintree.

🏇 It’s Gold Cup Day at the Cheltenham Festival and we're celebrating over 25 years of delivering world-class coverage at the event.

Our crew is in full swing, capturing the excitement of the parade ring with overhead wirecam shots and high speed tracking vehicles bringing fans closer to the racing action.

This year we’re proud to introduce our latest custom built tracking vehicle, equipped with solar panels for a more sustainable power solution.

🏝️🏃A race around Ibiza’s Mediterranean paradise!

Over the weekend, our team applied their sun cream to follow in the footsteps of the professionals in a terrific 100km race across the magnificent Balearic island: 2km swim, 80km bike and 18km run.

We joined forces with the UK and French teams from EMG / GRAVITY MEDIA to capture the IBIZA T100 Triathlon, deploying two live drones alongside the Sirius OB truck from France to capture the Triathlon.
