Some long-standing Scootering readers may remember John Taylor โ€” a committed Lambretta enthusiast who also wrote for Scootering and other small-wheels publications.

Following her dadโ€™s death, Johnโ€™s daughter Louise began archiving the photographs, possessions and memories he left behind. That project has now become Archiving Dad, a hand-bound photobook containing archive images of John and his bikes.

Louise has launched a Kickstarter to help bring the book to life, with the campaign closing on October 10.

Forty years after his first European Vespa adventure, Robin Quartermain was back on the road for Vespisti Week 2026 โ€” with plenty of rain, plenty of laughs and a huge parade to Brugge.

From Le Shuttle and Belgian lagers to a 2,000+ rider ride-out and a superbly organised Vespa Village, this was a trip worth remembering.
