This was the filming for the Your Horsham Horsham Tap And Vine Takeover!

As part of my work with YH (this is the Horsham BID) I got to do something I love - meet lots of new people, find out about them, their business and create video content to help promote them, tell people about an event and create a buzz.

Tap and Vine Takeover is happening in Horsham on the first weekend of Sept - 13 bars across the town are taking part to shine the spotlight on 30 locally produced beers, wines and ciders. Plus there will be a triple brewers pop up bar and live music over the weekend!

Anyone taking part can get their venue passport stamped and be in with a chance of winning literally a sh*t load of products from the breweries!

This is a great event to showcase local and bring people together.

Working with Rachel at YH plus Venessa and Sam from Firebird Brewing Co. and all of the venues and suppliers was a lot of fun and something great to be involved in, of which I was really pleased to be asked to do.

We filmed short videos with each venue to introduce themselves and their featured drink(s) and also did a video with a fact about their pub…such as the one with 3 ghosts in it!

We also did a series of videos with the breweries including Firebird, Brolly Brewing and Horsham Brewery Company Limited which were brilliant.

We also did montage edits with all the venues giving details about the event and filmed some PTC videos with Tim Fifield and Rachel and Venessa.

A huge amount of content from this means multiple videos going out weekly in the 6 week lead up to the event launch.

We’re excited to introduce the panel for this year’s competition!

Returning to the judging panel are Rebecca Moon and Stuart Andrews, both tutors from the Media Department at Collyer’s College in Horsham.

We’re also delighted to welcome back producer Pete Levy, who brings his expert eye and industry insight once again.

Joining the panel for the first time is Elodie, whose fresh perspective will be a fantastic addition. She joins returning judge Geoff to complete our brilliant team.✨

Something a bit different from us here...

When not filming, Geoff co-runs the Who Corner to Corner podcast and has teamed up with fellow podcaster and filmmaker Chris, who runs Secrets and Spies podcast which is a big espionage focussed podcast, he also edits podcasts for clients.

We're running a workshop designed to show you how to get podcasting and grow your audience and perhaps make a bit of money through it all as well!
