Well, I’ve seen a few times, last time he was in Brighton was on the beach and I was lucky enough to spend a little time with him, and the rest of the band.
Tonight’s gig did not disappoint, the crowd were maybe a little Monday evening, but the encore went down!
Thanks Kamasi for stopping by our city again, you’ll always be welcome here… x

A mellow for me… swung by and picked up the box set, sadly was a little@late for the other bits I wanted, so headed into Brighton, first stop which is a great place and, in my opinion, a little overshadowed among Brighton record shops, but it’s well worth a visit, picking up there. Wandered past which had the usual queue but I wasn’t after anything particular at this point so carried onto to say hi to Euan, and got the Sister Nancy and the comp. Bumped into the legend and wandered back to the and picked up their last copy of the release…

Lots of people out and about buying records, remember though, that record shops exist every day of the year, they are there to turn you into music you haven’t discovered yet, so make them your second home. iInstead of a subscription, buy a record a month and really listen to it…

Stoked to be nominated for Breakthrough Producer of the Year at the awards.

It’s a struggle being a producer, not enough light is shone on those helping artists realise their dreams, working away in the trenches, so this is a nice opportunity to shine!

I worked with Amanda Whiting on her album ‘The Liminality of Her’ for and it was a joy to help bring that record to life, helping her realise the sound in her head and bringing a little extra magic with

In the mayhem of the last week, I sort of forgot about an album of music I put up on Spotify…
It’s an attempt to recreate the noises in my head, the feelings I carry about each day and the space I feel I exist in.
It’s darkly ambient with moments of melody, slow twisting shapes,a place you can rest a while and let your mind breathe.
I hope you feel it. X

I’m on at 2pm today, celebrating the release of and their new compilation ‘Record Club Vol 7’ by spending 2 hrs working my way through Vols 1-6 and then playing cuts off the new one.
