The best way to get to know your bike and save a few pound notes on the way. Suzuki wants the iridium spark pugs checking at just 7500miles !.
I’ve no problem with that other than they are a bu**er to get to and a few hours labour at a dealer. I’ll strip the Vstrom myself and save a few hundred quid. How does that sound 😬. The money will pay for mucho gogo juice for exploring the Uk’s wonderful scenery. Stay safe everyone.

A fantastic unplanned ride out with Crazylegs on a bike and Baylatron. It was damp and messy and class.

It’s taken a while to look through all the available roadside shots from the Dave Day ride 2025. I’ve finally found one of me on the 800DE in an Hawaiin shirt. Full set of waterproofs underneath. It was raining off and on and 28 degrees at the time. It was like boil in the bag. Needed a few pints to rehydrate once at the digs.

I made a solid effort to wave back or give a thumbs up to every single person on the route today from Knutsford to Barrow-In-Furness . The weather was hit and miss and yet spectators gave their time to turn up. I’m guessing maybe hundreds of thousands along the entire route. I must admit the welcome cheers by the locals as we entered the populated areas made every second of the journey worth while. I’ve never witnessed anything like it. This is what it feels like to be part of the biking community 😬👍🏻
