This incredible initiative, powered by our friends at , is all about spotlighting emerging artists, bands, and creative talent across Kirklees!
🎧 What is Kirklees Most Wanted?
Each month, a curated Spotify playlist drops - featuring the freshest tracks from Kirklees-based musicians, handpicked by a local team. Artists featured also get the chance to perform at expenses-paid gigs, with a showcase event closing out the season.
🎤 Last year’s impact? Massive:
– 60 local artists + bands featured
– 10 live gigs + a packed-out showcase at Northern Quarter
– 60+ reviews + 6 artist interviews
– 90+ venues involved (performance + passive)
– And new bookings after the project ended
