What makes this copy particularly special is the remix by British production and remix team Driza Bone. I’m yet to hear a bad Driza Bone remix. Outstanding talent with an unmistakable sound, responsible for some genuine modern soul classics, and this is one of their finest.

I had the privilege of working with Kenny several times during the 1990s. He was then, and still is today, a true professional and a showman like no other.

Three amazing records, and I still can’t choose between them all these years later.

When I decided in March to take records back on the road, I never imagined HI‑FI & 45s™ would become what it has today. The DJ bookings have been wonderful, but it is you, the followers in the UK and around the world, who have made this page so special.

Daily posts take time, but reaching 20,000 followers makes every minute worthwhile. For such a new concept to have grown like this has completely blown me away.

Once again, thank you to my friend Warren Aspland, whose gigs reminded me how playing records makes you perform differently.

After almost four decades behind the turntables, returning to where I started feels truly magnificent.

Thank you, everybody. Keep following, keep liking and, most importantly, keep enjoying what we do here at HI‑FI & 45s.

Many people go straight to Finally, but CeCe made so many other great records. Co-written by Kym Sims, this is undoubtedly my second favourite CeCe Pen*ston track. Can you guess my first?
