Just to make you all aware, the site management are now starting works in the carpark areas to finally patch up all the holes and broken concrete! This will likely cause some disruption with being able to park until it's all completed, there is plenty of space near the entrance of the site outside the old Aquarium gardens unit if needed. Appologies in advance for the inconvenience but it should be a lot better when it's all done!

And we are done! Bookings for Room 1 and recording sessions are now open again - as well as sorting the floor we've also sorted cable management, changed the layout for the PA system (definitely better after testing it out), new wheels on both guitar cabs and there are now 2 Marshall amp heads in here and a mini sofa. There will also be a few more touches coming later including low lighting options similar to what we've done in room 3.

Room 1 version 2.0 is nearly there folks 👌its looking a whole lot better in here, floor is done, slight change to the layout and finally fitted some trunking for the multicore cables. Just a few little finishing touches to go and we'll have it open again next week!

Room 1 is officially CLOSED! The room is getting cleared out and this is the last look at the Fubar'd carpet 😬. We'll have it re-floored (and a couple of other little jobs) and re-opened again ASAP

Hi Everyone... Im looking for a willing Rock and Roll style band, im pretty sure some of the Rock Rooms users would fall into that category. Ive been approached by Ferrars Hall Make A Wish, one of the residents used to be a drummer for such a band and would really like to see a live band again, and maybe get a chance to play. due to health reasons he cant leave the home but were hoping theres a band that would be willing to go to him - I can provide PA and backline but i need a band to make it happen. Dates are flexible though they specified ideally 230pm. So please all shout at once and lets try and make this happen!

The Rock Rooms have got no nuts!

Yes you read it right, The cymbal stands in all 3 rooms will be switching over to "No Nuts" cymbal stems, literally just pop your cymbals on and that's it, no felts, no nuts, no fuss. This is mainly because the standard cymbal stems are wearing out and breaking as fast as we can replace them and felts seem to go missing. So we're giving the No Nuts system a try!
