Far Canal Amateur Radio Group G0SEA Welcome to our page! The group name dates back to the '90s, when we needed a name to enter our first Amateur Radio Contest.

Originally formed as a VHF amateur radio contest group, we now participate in more leisurely aspects of the hobby, like HF portable operation and beer drinking. Despite being successful on many occasions, our interest in contesting and amateur radio in general eventually dwindled. Recently, using HF radio during camping holidays revived our enthusiasm for the hobby. Campsites provided the opportunity to put up large aerials away from urban noise and interference, and the DX was there to be worked! We set this page up so that friends new and old can follow our activities, arrange skeds and even see who is actually at the other end of the radio!
