It's been a while!
I've been learning something new for the last few weeks... tatting! It's a form of lace making originating in the early 19th century.
This is the biggest thing I've made yet, it's nowhere near perfect and has so many mistakes but I'm really excited by the possibilities!

Yesterday at The Creative Craft Show I learned the historical craft of Dorset buttons from Kirstie's Home Made Christmas winner Gini. They are so beautiful and there are sooooo many possibilities.... watch this space!

I've had a wonderful day at Mount cook activity center today, being taught enamel and copper jewelry techniques, by a lady called Netty Reddish. 😃 Very happy with the results!!
