A £5,000 grant has funded the reopening of Nell Bank Outdoor Education Centre, Ilkley ’s refurbished pond-dipping area, alongside essential surrounding groundworks.

The centre is inviting Yorkshire organisations, local businesses, trusts and community partners to support the Nell Bank Charitable Trust through sponsorship, brand partnerships, donations, volunteer days, or in-kind support.

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joan Rayner on 29th December.

Joan was Ilkley born, worked at the Loafer and the Tesco deli counter until she retired.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday 27th January at 10:45am. at Rawdon Crematorium.

Family flowers only, please. Donations in memory of Joan will go to RNLI and BHF.
