Being Young

Youth has a right to be impertinent
It's the powder in the firework
It's the right to laugh hard and loud
It's to not give a F
We lose our youth in increments
We slowly surrender to more pain
And disability
But youth is eternal
It still lives within you
So if you are young reading this
Know you will not always be
If lucky
You will see old age
Then you will recall
What you should have done when you were young
God bless youth
Respect those who have journeyed further
And Roll On.
