On Friday evening, Netsounds headed along to Under Canvas at Eden Court to capture performances from two incredible acts.

🎸 Ahmed Dickinson Cardenas - Guitarist showcased his outstanding Cuban guitar playing with an intimate and beautifully performed set, before Los Chichanos brought the energy with an infectious mix of Peruvian cumbia, Afro-Latin rhythms and tropical grooves that had the audience moving.

It was another fantastic evening under the canvas, highlighting the diverse range of artists appearing as part of Eden Court's summer programme.

🎶 New Photo Gallery 📸

Our first visit to Eden Court Theatre and Cinema's Under Canvas this summer saw us catch the second half of the evening, featuring Liza Mulholland with songs & tunes from their Metagama: An Atlantic Odyssey with John Joe MacNeil, Charlie Mckerron Music School, Willie Campbell Music and the brilliant young musicians from Fèis Spè.

If you haven't been along to Under Canvas yet, there's still plenty of time. The festival runs until 30 August, with performances taking place Wednesday to Sunday each week. Tickets are available on Eden Court's Pay What You Can scheme.

The Netsounds Sessions return to the Tomatin Whisky Bothy at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival 2026, continuing a tradition that's been bringing intimate live performances to the festival since 2011.
