Huge thank you to everyone who reached the dance on the 27th and made it so special. It was great to see so many new faces in there and also some that have been with us for many years. Great to see different generations dancing together too- something we have always loved about our dancefloor. A huge thanks to for travelling north to nice things up on the mic, to for adding a real touch of class with tenor sax and turkish flute! To jimmy djembe Nat , Kenny Bongos and Kirsty Kowbell we couldn't love you guys more for always sharing your time, skill and energy with all of us. Great to see Gillian, tina and Luna leading impromptu dances in the crowd too!!

Coming up on 8 years in the Highlands now and, thanks to you, we've still got the energy for many more.

And finally thanks to for always supporting us and providing a great space for us to come together. There is more to come!

THANK YOU all for coming on Saturday! Just great to see such a big crowd showing up in these times, and we appreciated the energy you brought...and lots of new faces too!

One more for the year and it's another local one - back at our Lochinver home of Delilah's with Tom and Oak Smoke Soundsystem, and also joined by B-Burg spinning hip hop, disco and and all things soulful and jazzy.

Vanlifers come join us :-). Nice to start 2026 on a snowy Clachtoll beach with the wind and spray stinging your face and evaporating your cares!

FRIDAY We're playing at JUICE - our sister club night - Hip hop, funk and disco in the Phoenix Cafe Findhorn. 4 deck set, with DJ Butterscotch on two of 'em! Come along!

SATURDAY Mark and Ali both on duties in the George Orwell Public House in Dundee, free entry, and always a great session in this place. Everyone from the staff to the folks who drop by are always sound. ANNOUNCING!

The Karawane Festive Takeover is coming! A huge dance between crimbo and hogmany, that for many (and for us) is the highlight of the season. As we get closer, and with over 30% of tickets already gone, it's time to introduce you to some special guests!

Maren Amira is a boundary-pushing musician and composer, moving seamlessly between saxophone, Arabic and Turkish ney flutes, and electronic production, to blend jazz, Middle Eastern music, and cutting-edge club culture.

With a Master’s degree in Middle Eastern Music Performance at SOAS, and extended periods in Istanbul and Cairo,her international career spans stages across the UK and Europe. She founded and performed with projects such as the Mazaj Ensemble and Souk Bab Al Louk, and Dubarabi (with producer Spy from Cairo), which fuses Arabic melodies with dub and electronic sounds. With the EastWest Pacem Orchestra, she brings together Syrian artists with classical and experimental musicians to create powerful live experiences such as The Magic of Old Damascus and Memories of Old Damascus at the Essen Philharmonic.

You might have seen Maren on stage with us at Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival- an impromptu, unplanned performence that just...happened. We're SO glad Maren has come back to play with us again, because it elevated the sound and experience so much.

And on the mic...MC Einstein, hailing from Zimbabwe! If you have been to Kelburn festival, you'll have seen the breadth of Einstein's skills. One minute he is toasting the afro-latin sounds with his Samedia Shebeen family, and the next he is bubbling over dubplates with Hometown Promotion Sound System or Mighty Oak Sound. He brings a rich energy to the dancefloor and knows exactly when to lift it, and when to leave it- a rare skill!

Of course, we have incredible percussion with the Karawane Drums (Carol Scorer, Jimmy Djembe, Mya, Nat and more!) and ourselves on the decks all night backdropping the whole thang.

Its been a whole year since our sold-out 2024 gig at and its high time we headed back to Fife!
