We are joined for this next Under Canvas by special guest Pasosprohibidos!

A Guatemalan-Mexican selector on a mission to expand Latin American sounds into Glasgow’s music scene.

Co-founder of .uk a Glasgow-based space for Latin American art & artists to showcase to the world, he serves up a generous helping of cumbia, merengue, and quebradita.

It doesn't matter if you understand the lyrics, because his selections are all about rhythms that make you move!

Join us at this Saturday and move your body to some new sounds!

Loved the dancers just embracing the rain and eschewing the cover of canvas for the sheltering sky instead. Beautiful.

And we have been receiving some lovely comments of late about what our wee thing means to you and we cant tell you how much we appreciate it in times such as these. Really, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you for continuing to show up and share in this experience.

Hey , posting here as we've received several messages about Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival this year! Here are answers to your questions!

"Are you playing this year? We don't see you on the poster "

Yes we are playing! We've actually never been on the poster but we're definitely around :-). This year we are on the Burke n Hair Stage on Thursday from 7pm til close and the poster is below. We'll also play a set on Friday night to close the same stage. Saturday 2nd we'll be off-site playing Under Canvas at Eden Court Theatre and Cinema.

"what happened to Mother's Ruin?" "Is it gone forever?"

We just saw on the official page that it will be a karaoke this year, and we're afraid we only know as much as you do. However, there will also be DJs down at the Seedlings stage late night too, such as The Dannsa crew.

We don't know more than this, but you can stay up to date on the Bella official page or the official fans group too,

If you're Bella-bound, we shall see you all at the Burke & Hair stage on Thursday and Friday night, for some serious shenanigans, and we can't wait to dance with you all there again!

NEXT UP! This Friday we head to DUNDEE for a 4-deck taproom session at the lovely new venue-Canvas!

Saturday we are back north at in Eden Court Theatre and Cinema with the indefatigable Kenny MF Bongos and the beautiful soul that is Nat on percussion to elevate the vibe. We hope you all join us and keep supporting this amazing spot we have in the summer!

Saturday night we have an afters session at Soundbar & Kitchen until late, for those who want to continue the party...come along!

Before you know it, summer will be on it's way out the door, so the time to dance is....now!

Thank you for an amazing experience. This place and this event never ever fail to deliver. If you've never been...you know what to do! Amazing feels with good people, friendly faces and people just absolutely up for having fun. Thanks to and for sharing your stage with so many great artists- Viewpoint was our home for the day for sure! Thanks also to Kenny MF bongos for elevating our set and to all the dancers who kept the vibes high as we heated things up for the wonderful ❤️

NEXT UP! Weekend of 4th July is a busy one. Here's the drill.

Friday 4th July we'll be on the Viewpoint Stage at at 8pm, alongside Kenny M.F. Bongos! Just after us is the incredible so you are going to have a serious dance and no mistake!

Saturday 5th is UNDER CANVAS time! Full Karawane session with Mark and Ali both on a 4-deck set, and come see the new tent setup, which is looking good! That runs from 18:30-10:00. Tickets are via Eden Court and check the lineup for what is one of the most diverse Under Canvas lineups we've seen-looking super super good!

AFTERPARTY from 10pm- very late on Saturday 5th night is at , where we are joined by , a.k.a Shangri-La from Istanbul. Shangri La started out at Dinamo FM in 2004 and was part of the core team behind Radar Live Festival, and later programming for festivals like Akbank Jazz, Cappadox, and One Love, as well as for the iconic Istanbul venue Babylon.

In 2022, she founded her own music agency, Future Program, where she continues to focus on artistic programming and booking. Her sets lean into eclectic sounds that don’t stick to a single genre, but always carry a shared feeling, and promise to get you dancing. We played with Isil in this year and she's got some tunes for sure!

Sunday....are you kidding? We'll be barely alive.
