Final call for anyone wishing to add to the final total for the W’ur Still Game 2024 event before the big cheque is presented to Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland next week.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all those who took part, supported the event with sponsorship, donations and prizes and to all those who gave so generously, pushing the total raised to over £2000!

A huge thank you also to our superstar guest Gavin Mitchell. What a thoroughly great sport.

I would also like to recognise the late Sandy Elrick’s contribution in making the event such a wonderful success. So sadly missed 💔

What an absolute BELTER of a night! 🥰❤️🕺🏻💃🏻🍺🍺🌵👏🏻👏🏻

We had countless Jacks, Victors, 4 Ediths, 3 Winstons, 2 Methadone Micks, ID Sheathing, Navid, so many Isas that we’ve had to invent a collective noun for them (it’s a gossip of Isas, by the way!). We even had…Tam, Frances and……...the wean! 👶🏼

Thank you so so much to Craig & Beverly Funeral Directors, Field Engineering Services and Beekies Neuk for generously sponsoring the event, to all those who kindly donated raffle and auction prizes, everyone who attended, bought raffle tickets and bid so VERY generously in the auction. Thanks also to Inverurie Bowling Club (especially the bar and kitchen staff!) for hosting us, to Lee at Red Shoe Entertainment, Sandy Elrick of Ace of Spades disco for keeping us all moving, our helpers from Chest Heart & Stroke Scotland, the cast of Still Game for signing so many things for us and kindly recording messages in support of the event, J & G Dossett for the delicious pies, Sinclairs of Rhynie for the empire biscuits, Tesco Inverurie and Tunnocks, the owner/lender of the TAM1 scooter (you know who you are-great sport!) and last but absolutely not least, THANK YOU to the wonderful Gavin Mitchell, for being so kind, patient, hilariously entertaining and the very best sport. What a gentleman ❤️ (he know what Prosecco is, too! 🥂🤣👏🏻👏🏻)

Early indications suggest that the funds raised are going to surpass the £2000 mark!
